Dota 6.72 AI status update

Hello.
It has been a long summer full of work and some vacations with my family. Work on the script progresses slowly as all of the coding members of the AITeam are busy with RL. But it progresses :) By looking at the list with pending changes, porting 6.72 is somewhat needing one final and dedicated blow to finish. I fixed Invoker`s AI last week and it is working good. The other broken AIs will feel the love too after we finish porting the script.

Sooo, we are still here and kicking :)

  4. Hey PBMN,

    Possible to make a thorough readme? (e.g. all the AI commands etc.) Or am I just blind, and missed it? :P

    Also, maybe add a command to disable "VENGEANCE"? or add the disable to the -ne command? Good concept, since AI aren't that bright, but I think "VENGEANCE" still needs some work..screws big-time with the balancing :) . But I must say, it can be useful if you play 5 human vs 5 AI. I tested it only me and 4 AI vs 5 AI, and they rape late game when they regroup...so maybe add the current gold "regen" and upper limit to insane AI, and scale it down from there? I'd love to hear thoughts about it...

  9. Pleasebugmenot Hello, I wanted to know if you can give us a release date of the map 6.72 Ai, or at least let us know if missing a few days, weeks or months longer to finish, because the truth is that waiting for the map is endless ...

Hi PBMN, can I suggest that you make some AI(maybe one or two, preferably stunner or disabler) to wait at the rune spot for runes at the start of the game(of course this doesnt work for -ar because the AI has no time to do so) so that the AI can try First Blood attempt when they get rune, and if there is no rune(even there is) the AI can go to the mid lane to try First Blood attempt with his ally who is solo-ing mid. And one more thing, the AI should move to the second tower and not the base tower at 0:08 min mark(sth like that) so that the AI can block some creeps instead of following the creeps to the lane.

    thanks for 6.71ai! it is really cool!

    Some suggestions,

    will you port the -cm mode for the next ai version? the ai captain sould pick a random supporthero and some fighting hero and ban randomly as well..

    another thing is that since you are fixing some ai, can you change medusa's late game item build to:

    -PowerTreads agi
    -Eye of skadi
    -satanic
    -butterfly
    -manta style
    -linken sphere

    because I tried that and she got 3.1k hp and 1.8k mana then if mana shield (2damage absorb per mana point) is on a the time..She will be a monster .. She got 104-110 + 170 damage with these items which is really good consider that she is a tank hero.. And just make her activate her satanic when her hp is like 25% but of course she should attack the enemy...
