DotA Allstars 6.70c AI Test, Tuskarr

Here you can see my first tests of Tuskarr`s basic AI. He is doing very good despite the rough code.



His Walrus Punch was a big problem because it crashed the game 100% when used. We tried to fix it but the skill is rewritten and you may experience bugs (extra critical hits) with it. Either rewritten or 100% crash on use. Some of the skills are just not AI map compatible. Some of them are Kunkka`s Tidebringer, Storm Spirit`s Overload and etc.

DotA 6.70c AI news and Invoker`s AI Feedback

Great news, we began working on 6.70c AI with IceFrog`s blessing. Things are going smooth... i can say smoother than ever. Here is my first test of the 2 new imported heroes: Phoenix and Tuskarr.



They still lack item and skills builds, but we will fix that. I can`t promise full AI for both of them but let`s say i`ll try to make at least the one having AI. Also i want to work on some old heroes and more items to be usable by the AI.

Speaking of AI... i`m very glad of the feedback i`m getting about Invoker`s AI. I`ll continue tweaking his reactions and hopefully he`ll be even better in the next releases. Some day he might have different skill builds, item builds and skills combos corresponding to his builds. It`s a complex system with a very fragile balance.. and one must be very careful to not disturb the equilibrium (great movie btw). Here some quotes:

He ultra-killed them. Blast/Meteor then Tornado while he Manta Styled and auto-attacked the four of them. His Linkens apparently saved him from being silenced by Balanar. I believed he used his Alacrity afterwards. Can't remember.

It took me about thirty seconds to gather my shit. I just realized I should have taken a screenshot.

Here we go again, another release of our beloved DotA AI map.

That release should be memorized as the first one with AI for Kael, Invoker. I think he has a room for improvement but let`s see how it goes . I would like to see feedback for his accomplishments. He usually starts slow, but after he gets lower Invoke cd and enough mana... things get HOT!

Kael, Invoker

After a whole day tweaking Kael, Invoker... i think he has a promising future. Watching some games, i saw a pattern: Invoker`s team was always loosing with ratio like 2-14... after Invoker rushes his Aghanim`s... the whole picture changed. He changed to a really pushing warlord... spawning 2 manta mirros, 2 necro warriors, 2 Spirits and himself...
His team won in all games after sucking hard in the beginning. A game changer :)
He might be my second favorite child after Kaldr, Ancient Apparition.

Stay tuned... i think Saturday is D-Day.

AI doesn`t drop free scrolls of town portal at fountain area anymore.... and if they do it... consider yourself lucky...

Hi, guys.
Long time no see :)
I`ve been busy at work and some vacation weeks but now i`m back on track. AITeam did great job during my absence. We had some stability problems after some aggressive leaks cleaning and renaming but as the last tests showed us.. the map is playable. I`m just putting that last 6.69c changes and some AI improvements and probably next week the map will be released.
